Meet the Team
The Executive board of Directors

Shawna Streb - President
Shawna Streb
Shawna’s life is in the performing arts, from growing up in dance studios to studying instrumental music, dance and voice at the California Institute of the Arts. She has performed extensively in recitals, competitions, and musicals as a lead dancer, vocalist, and actress, and has toured in Los Angeles and New York. Shawna’s passion for the arts extended to teaching, choreographing, and serving as Assistant Creative Director at Cobblestone Arts Center, where she discovered a love for working with at-risk teens through dance, music, and theater. She has trained in classical jazz with Dennon and Sayhber Rawles.
Now based in Simi Valley with her husband of 25 years and their 4 children, Shawna continues to teach, perform, and create. Inspired by the depth of talent in the community, she is passionate about using music to help local artists realize their dreams while inspiring others along the way.

Royce Cadwell - Secretary
Royce Cadwell
With over 60 years of experience in piano, keyboard, and vocal music, Royce Cadwell brings a lifelong passion for music to the SVOCF Board. Alongside her musical expertise, Royce has over 20 years of experience as a legal assistant and has served as secretary to her community HOA. Her combined skills in music, organization, and administration make her a valuable asset to the board, contributing to the foundation’s mission of enriching lives through the power of music.

Heather Jennings - Treasurer
Heather Jennings
Heather Jennings grew up in the San Fernando Valley but found herself at “home” in the Simi Valley, surrounded by its natural beauty and amazing sense of community. She has dedicated her entire professional career to the law, but her true passions lie in anything surrounding the arts, having been introduced to music at a very young age. Heather is very excited to be sharing music with other artists as a member of the Simi Valley Orchestra. She combines her legal and financial experience with her heart for sharing music to carry out the tasks necessary of the SVOCF Treasurer. Music speaks to the heart when words fall short and reaches depths of the soul we never knew existed.
